“It is my pleasure to write a recommendation for Alfonso Suarez. We have been collaborating on projects since 2017.


While I was the Director of Visual Windows and Special Projects for Bloomingdale’s 59th St flagship store, I hired Alfonso to produce many videos for 8 LED tile digital walls that anchored the back 8’ x8’ section of each window. Even though I have moved on from my role this month, Alfonso is still working on projects for Spring launches.


After we had preproduction meetings to go over the campaign theme and the parameters, Alfonso took it from there. He always added his artistic style while maintaining our brand guidelines and in many cases, the esthetic of a particular fashion house we might have been collaborating with. Alfonso is very quick, always open to feedback and a so easy to work with.


Alfonso also produced many renderings and story boards for special window campaigns whether it be for a Bloomingdale’s store specific campaign or a project to launch a movie across all the windows. His renderings were created in scale to our window dimensions. He worked well with the movie houses and easily navigated between Bloomingdales brand guidelines and those of the filmmakers.


He also did several typography treatment layouts for the windows glass on a very fast paced deadline, working with myself and our sign production company.


Many of the fashion brands that I connected Alfonso with, continue to hire him to work on projects that have nothing to do with Bloomingdale’s. Another testament to his value as a designer”.
